Rachael's Approach to Therapy
Rachael Ananian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) who works with adults and couples navigating challenges related to eating disorders, body image, anxiety, relationships, and perinatal mental health. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood, as well as helping couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and deepen their connection.
Rachael takes a warm, collaborative approach to therapy grounded in relational, systemic, and experiential perspectives. She helps clients explore how their experiences, relationships, and established patterns shape their sense of self and connection with others. Drawing from humanistic and experiential approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and systemic family therapy, she tailors treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.
